If there’s one habit that resets our body fast is this:
Going to sleep before 10 PM.
In Chinese medicine, this supports the Triple Burner and Liver-Gallbladder systems, which coordinate energy, hormone regulation, detox, and recovery.
Modern science agrees: deep sleep before midnight improves cell repair, inflammation, hormone balance, brain function, and metabolism.
Even if our bodies are used to going to sleep later than 10 PM we can feel the effect in just 3 days.
Here’s what improves when we sleep earlier:

Why 10 PM matters:The body starts critical repair cycles around 9–11 PM.Stay up past that, and our nervous system stays alert instead of healing.
My Go-To Sleep Reset Protocol:
In bed by 9:30 PM for 3 nights in a row
I make sure to follow the 3-2-1 rule for better sleep:
• 3 hours – No food → helps the body detox
• 2 hours – No drinks → prevents waking up to use the bathroom
• 1 hour – No screens → supports the natural sleep cycle (circadian rhythm)
Even if you don’t fall asleep right away, you’re retraining your system to shift into rest and repair mode.
